HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning)

Our HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning) program prepares high school and adult students for a high skill, high demand, high wage career as a HVAC technician. Students will learn how to install, operate, and repair heating and air conditioning systems through project-based experiences and hands-on training in residential and commercial ventilation.

Emphasis is placed on the generation and modification of electricity for HVAC systems, wiring principles and procedures approved by the National Electrical Code (NEC), operational techniques for ventilation and refrigeration systems, and troubleshooting techniques for refrigeration systems.

Upon completion of the program students will be prepared for the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) examination and to obtain other complementary licenses.
