2012 SoCal ROC Fashion Show: An Evening at Tiffany's

After months of sketching, designing, sewing and draping dress forms, SoCal ROC Fashion Design and Fashion Design Production students presented their 2012 collection in a fashion show. The fashion show, "An Evening at Tiffany's", was produced at SoCal ROC on May 30, 2012. The aspiring fashion designers exhibited their innovative creations to community members including parents, board members, staff members, and to fashion advisory members. The pop-culture themed collections were inspired by the following famous personalities: Audrey Hepburn, Tyra Banks, Michael Jackson, Elvis and Priscilla Presley and Lady Gaga.
Embellished denim, 60's inspired dresses, 80's themed bright colored clothing, and formal evening wear were modeled by the student designer's models.
At the end of the show, the fashion design students were awarded prizes for the following categories: "best garment construction", "most marketable and most cohesive collection", "most creative designer", and "top model".
Local businesses donated supplies and prizes for the fashion show. Sponsors of the event includes Milani Cosmetics, Thompson Trophy, Inc., Fashion Supplies, Inc., SchoolsFirst Credit Union, The Casket Gallery, Lincoln Berridge, PGM Pro, Inc., and A Touch of Class Auto Body and Towing.
The SoCal ROC Cosmetology students styled the hair and make-up for the student designers and their models for the fashion show. SoCal ROC's Floral Design class arranged the floral decorations.
The SoCal ROC School of Arts, Media & Entertainment students' graphic design and silkscreen artwork were also on display at the show.
