Employer Advisory Committees Discussed Labor Market Trends with SoCal ROC

SoCal ROC hosted an annual Employer Advisory Committee Meetings on January 26, 2012, for its School of Health Sciences, School of Finance and Business, School of Public & Consumer Services, and School of Agriculture and Natural Resources.
The Employer Advisory Committees are comprised of industry representatives, community members and SoCal ROC instructors, administrators, and students. The Employer Advisory Committees met to review and discuss review of each programs curriculum including: Labor Market, Career Pathways, Instructional Strategy Notebooks, instructional materials, technology trends, course outlines, and training plans for On-The-Job Training. The information compiled from the meetings is incorporated into planning for the upcoming school year to provide the best Career Technical Education opportunities for all high school students and adults in the South Bay.
The School of Engineering and Design will hold its Employer Advisory Meeting on February 15, 2012 and the School of Arts/ Media and Entertainment on March 14, 2012.
