Position: WEB PAGE DESIGN INSTRUCTOR

Function: Instruction will focus on the business of professional web design with emphasis on industrial web site
development and sales. Instruction in the fundamentals of web site search engine optimization, basic
knowledge of Internet technologies, as well as web authoring using a major professional web authoring
software program, Adobe Dreamweaver. Upon completion of this course, students should be able to create
web sites containing text, graphics, hyperlinks, tables and will have an understanding of industrial web
development needs including detailed knowledge of web site navigation, and introduction to SEO (Search
Engine Optimization) and sales.

Schedule: Students learn how to write logically structured, well-documented computer programs using the JAVA programming language. Instruction emphasizes the design issues that make programs understandable, adaptable, and, when appropriate, reusable. Instruction also includes preparation for the A.P. exam in Computer Science.
